“ You will not find a better place to eat. I've been eating here since I could eat solid foods, roughly 40 years. Roger has been greeting people from the kitchen that whole time too. He remembers EVERYONE. When I was a kid my dad told me that when the restaurant was at the old location, a blimp pilot needed a place to land and Roger went outside and guided him down into the bank parking lot across the street and fed him tacos. He's the best! And the ambience is second to none. ”
“ Every single time I walk in I'm greeted by name. They get to know you they know their community. They are so kind on Valentine's Day. Dan was giving out yellow roses to women and children that just needed a smile. The food is amazing. It's always got great flavor. It's always fresh. The bread pudding is something new in the last year or so and it's perfectly portioned into muffin sizes and there's always a super amazing twist to it and every week it's something different but it's only one flavor a week a until it's gone... so don't wait! If you love Coca-Cola, you'll love hanging out and looking at all the memorabilia around this place it's just iconic if you are from the area, you know Bert's Chuckwagon is absolutely the place to be. I wish their hours were longer, but they're amazing and my kids absolutely love it! ”
“ We went again to Bert's and I had the King size BBQ sandwich and it was huge. Lots of meat and very delicious. I really like eating here. We went there again a few days ago but there wasn't one parking spot anywhere near there even driving in circles. We will go there early next time. ”
“ One of our favorite places in Collinsville! We have been going here since their last location which I loved but the newer location is way bigger and more convenient. We are always greeted by someone quickly and service is always outstanding! I'm obsessed with their super tacos but that's because I prefer a flour Shell. If you like a corn shell better stick with the regular size. I didn't get one this trip but their mini pulled pork sandwiches are also a great choice! Prices are reasonable and whatever they do to their soda it's the perfect mix With the "sonic" ice! ”
“ If you get a chance to say hi to the owner, Roger, make sure you do! Fast, great, cheap food. Definitely get enchiladas as part of your meal!! ”
“ I had a vanilla malt. It was basic in a good way. Just what I want from a soda-fountain style place. I'll be back. ”
“ I've never had a bad meal in all my years eating at Bert's. That, coupled with affordable prices, makes this one of my go-tos in the area. ”
“ This is the only restraint I've been to that the food presentation looks better than any photos of the food! Not only that, but the taste is top notch. I haven't found anything on the menu that isn't awesome ”
“ Everybody in the area knows about Burt's on Main Street in Collinsville. It is a go to spot for a quick bite and reasonably priced good food. The tacos are good and so are the deep-fried mushrooms. Give them a try. ”
